The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, invites applications to fill two positions of Project Associate and Senior Project Associate on contractual basis for 06 months for “Influence of tectonic change (uplift and subsidence) on dynamics of the carbon stocks of the mangrove forests of the Andaman Islands Project.

Pay Scale: Rs 42000/- + 16% HRA
Educational qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s in Botany/Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Marine Biology/Life Sciences or related disciplines. Minimum experience of four years in field research on coastal or intertidal ecology.

Educational qualification: First Class MS in Botany/Environmental Science/Wildlife Science/Marine Biology/Life Science or related disciplines.
Selection process
The selection will be made through the applications received and the shortlisted candidates will be summoned for the expertise test and an interview, after which the final result of the selection will be declared. The interview of the shortlisted candidates for all positions will probably take place on April 28, 2023 starting at 09:30 hrs. hereafter at the Institute’s campus in Chandrabani, Dehradun, about which the shortlisted candidates will be informed on or around 27th April 2023.
