Nintendo and the developer, Monolith Soft, have announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will receive the Redeemed Future DLC next week: April 25th.
This is great news for those who have long since finished the base game and are looking to get more out of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Unfortunately, there are many players out there who will no doubt have a bit of time before they can jump on. the DLC. Either way, we can’t complain about more content!
The Future Redeemed DLC will take place before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, featuring characters from across the series, introducing a new ‘Unity Combo’ and more. Much of what players can expect is shown off in the shiny new DLC trailer, including some familiar faces…
The DLC is expected to be a “new original story scenario” that will tie together the stories from all three Xenoblade Chronicles games, and will appear in wave 4 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass (which also includes all previous DLC).
Xenoblade Chronicles fans are simultaneously rejoicing at the responses to Nintendo’s Twitter announcement, with many of them surprised by the surprise announcement. The first answer comes from antdude, who says ‘WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY NEXT WEEK?’, summing up the surprise most fans are experiencing. That, and the fact that a lot of players have to catch up if they want to jump into the Future Redeemed DLC next week.
