Exam fee refund: update of bank account details

• The Railway Recruitment Boards have started the refund of the examination fee to candidates who attended CBT held from 17.08.2022 to 11.10.2022 for Level 1 positions against CEN No. RRC – 01/2019.
• Bank account details were taken at the time of completing the online claim form for reimbursement. However, the applications were received 04 years ago and in the intervening period many changes could have happened in the account details of the candidates. In addition, the Bank notes while reviewing the account details that a large number of payments have been made from the same account number. Also, due to the merger of several banks, their IFSC codes have been changed and it is necessary to reconfirm and take new bank account details if necessary for the refund to be made to the correct bank account of the candidate.

• To make it easier for candidates to provide their bank account details, the RRBs have decided to provide a unique opportunity to provide bank account details. Accordingly, a bank account update link will be provided on the official RRB websites, which will be available from 04/14/2023 10:00 a.m. to 04/30/2023 05:00 p.m. Candidates are advised to take advantage of this unique opportunity to update their bank account details if there are any changes.
• Candidates are requested to ensure that the bank account number and IFSC code entered are correct and are advised to check the bank account details and IFSC code carefully before submitting. It should be noted that the modification of bank details after submission will not be possible. RRBs will not be responsible for non-refunds, if any, due to incorrect details provided by candidates and will not receive further correspondence in this regard.
• The same updated bank details will also be used in the future to refund the prescribed fees paid by those candidates whose objections raised by questions/answers/options, etc., were found correct after a review of the objections in terms of the RRB Notice of date 13.10.2022.

NOTE :

• Last day to send Bank Data 04.30.2023 (5:00 p.m.)
• Refund (after deduction of bank charges) will be admissible subject to verification of the candidate’s details against the RRB’s records.
• Incorrect, incomplete and/or late claims will be summarily rejected.
• ONLY ONE REFUND PER BANK ACCOUNT WILL BE ALLOWED. v. Help desk menu will be provided to get any clarification or help in case of any problem in submitting bank details and forgotten registration menu will also be available to get missing registration number.
