Punjabi singer Karan Aujla clarifies link with Bishnoi after viral video

The Punjabi music industry has been rocked by the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, with new developments emerging every day. In the latest twist, Punjabi singer Karan Aujla found himself in the middle of controversy after a video went viral showing him performing alongside fugitive Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Anmol Bishnoi is wanted in connection with the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, which has been making headlines for months. Moosewala, a popular Punjabi singer, was shot dead in a Mansa village in May last year. Since then, the police have been on the lookout for those responsible for the crime.

The video, filmed at a reception in Bakersfield, California, shows Aujla and another singer, Sharry Maan, performing on stage. In the background, Anmol Bishnoi can be seen standing with a group of people.

In response to the controversy, Aujla has issued a statement clarifying its position. “I didn’t think it was necessary, but after seeing so many posts and messages, I just want to clarify about an event on Sunday in Bakersfield, CA,” she said. “As an artist, we don’t know who is attending or who is invited to the wedding shows we are booked for, so I prefer not to do a lot of wedding shows.”

Aujla went on to explain that she was not aware of Anmol Bishnoi’s background until she saw the video on social media. “As an artist I focus on my performance and leave the shows, I don’t notice each and every person as there are so many people around,” she said. “I would never knowingly attend or associate with such a thing.”

The Sidhu Moosewala murder case had shocked the Punjabi music industry, with many singers and producers fearing for their safety. The case is still ongoing, and police continue to investigate all leads in an effort to bring those responsible for the crime to justice.
