Lucknow’s famous Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah passes away after prolonged illness

A well-known personality and the famous Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah of Lucknow passed away on Tuesday at the age of 73. He breathed his last at the city’s Vivekananda Hospital. Nawab Mir Jafar was reportedly suffering from a prolonged illness and was being treated in hospital. He was on dialysis here. Former head of UP CM and SP Akhilesh Yadav mourned his death. Akhilesh Yadav tweeted: “The death of Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah Saheb of Sheesh Mahal Lucknow is the end of an era. Heartfelt condolences and condolences to the bereaved family members.”

PS leader Shivpal Singh Yadav also expressed his sorrow over the death of Nawab Mir Jafar. Yadav tweeted in Hindi saying: “Received the sad news of the passing of Jafar Mir Abdullah Saheb, the standard bearer of Tehzeeb of Awadh, Nawabi and Nawab heritage and opulence of Sheesh Mahal Lucknow. Former UP minister Mohsin Raza tweeted: “Inna lillahe wa inna ilahe rajeun. I received the sad news of the death of Janab Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah Sahab at Vivekananda Hospital, Lucknow. May Allah grant him a place in Jannat and his family and give strength to loved ones to bear this pain Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah ji was a well known and peace loving person from Lucknow, he was a very practical and calm person, he did an excellent job related to social service in his life, the culture of Lucknow was reflected in his personality, he will always be in our hearts. He will live as a good person.”

Congress leader Surendra Rajput tweeted: “The pride of Lucknow Nawab Jafar Mir Abdullah has passed away. This is the news of the end of an era of Lucknow culture, Nawab Sahib was Lucknow who was the life of every gathering in Lucknow. May Nawab Sahib get a high place in heaven, refreshment for all of us.”
