Rise Tarnished, let’s go back to souls‘ past

shared by ancient ring Sekirodubi data miner on TwitterDropoff wore the iconic demon souls level to ancient ring. Exactly how Dropoff did this remains a mystery, but as the YouTube video below demonstrates, the recreation looks incredible. Sure, it’s full of exiled soldiersand hyper-aggressive, cloaked and shield-wearing thugs hell-bent on protecting castles, but the nostalgic vibes are on point for anyone with even the slightest memory of the Boletarian Palace.

Boletario Palace (also called World 1-1) is where you learn what to expect. Is demon souls‘first actual location, the place you end up at after you die The Vanguard Tutorial Boss before leaving the hub known as The Nexus. A massive stone castle with walls, stairs, and enough rooms that even Siri couldn’t instruct you to exit, Boletarian Palace is your demon souls initiation to see if you can take the exorbitant punishment of the game. Dropoff’s interpretation of the location has a few key differences, most notably the exiled soldiers all over the place and the sunbeams beating down on the typically grim stone walls, but otherwise it looks like a faithful recreation of the Boletarian Palace.
