Around 40 tents were destroyed in a massive fire that broke out in one of them and quickly spread to adjacent structures in the Kidwai Nagar area of ​​Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh on the morning of April 10.

No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. Kanpur City Fire Department officials said the exact cause of the fire could not be determined.

“Two fire trucks were put into service to put out the fire,” they said, adding that the situation is under control. “Of the 40 stores, four were completely destroyed by fire,” authorities said. “No loss of life has been reported so far,” they added.
