Ford is recruiting an experienced Associate at its Chennai location. Will perform material cost validation and investments for design change request / cost savings initiatives, for assigned programs and assist in financial concurrency after delegation of authority. Participate in the decision forum meetings of the Chief Program Engineer to solve problems.

What will you be doing:
Support business case (BC) analysis and review with senior management
Follow-up of requests for engineering release systems and generation of reports.
Follow the continuous development process and achieve 100% quality and deliver assigned responsibilities within agreed timeframes
Preparation of monthly reports of investment forecast and cost of materials.
Facilitate the publication of vehicle line reports
Conduct annual activity analyzing approved requests vs. implemented requests and review with OPD leads
Support ad hoc projects for the automation and simplification of processes.
Qualifications for this job:
B Com, M How, Masters of Business Administration – Finance/Engineer with MBA – Finance/CA/ICWA (Inter/Final)
1 to 4 years of work experience in a Financial Analysis role
Active and fast student with an inquisitive mind
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Good communication/coordination skills
Results oriented with a strong work ethic
Team player, with the ability to work cross-culturally
Positive attitude
Demonstrates initiative and proactive approach to the problem
Able to work independently and keep track of assignments
Availability to work shifts as this is specific to North America.
What skills are needed:
Analytical and Communication Skills
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Language-good spoken and written English
WERS and WIPS experience
Previous exposure to data analytics/automation tools will be an added advantage
