For medical candidates: Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject after obtaining an MD/MS/MDS degree or a recognized equivalent qualification. EITHER Twelve years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the subject specialty after obtaining an M.Ch./DM (recognized 2-year or 5-year course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a recognized qualification equivalent to it. EITHER Eleven years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject for candidates holding a recognized 3-year DM/M.Ch degree in the respective discipline/subject or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For non-medical candidates: Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject in question after obtaining Ph.D.

For medical candidates: Ten years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject after obtaining an MD/MS degree or a recognized equivalent degree. EITHER Eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in a recognized institution in the specialty after obtaining DM/M.Ch. (recognized 2-year or 5-year post-MBBS course) in the respective discipline/subject or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. EITHER Seven years of experience in teaching and/or research in a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject for candidates who have 3 years of recognized title DM/M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For non-medical candidates: Ten years of experience in teaching and/or research in the discipline/subject in question after obtaining the doctorate.

EITHER Three years of experience in teaching and/or research in a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject for candidates who have 3 years of recognized title DM /M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For non-medical candidates: Six years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject in question after obtaining the doctorate.

For medical candidates: Three years of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the specialty of the subject after obtaining an MD/MS/MDS or a recognized equivalent qualification. EITHER One year of teaching and/or research experience at a recognized institution in the specialty after obtaining DM/M.Ch. (2 or 5 year recognized course after MBBS) or recognized title degree in DM/M.Ch or equivalent recognized title.
However, no experience is necessary for candidates holding a recognized three (3) year DM/M.Ch. or recognized qualification equivalent to it.
For non-medical candidates: Three years of experience in teaching and/or research in the discipline/subject in question after obtaining the doctorate.
