However, the Tax Department has sent such messages to some taxpayers, with the wording expressing strong dissatisfaction. Uproar over the message from the Income Tax Department
The Income Tax Department has notified taxpayers that they must deposit the advance tax. The Income Tax Department advises taxpayers: “The Income Tax Department has received information regarding some key financial transactions for the fiscal year 2022-23 (Assessment Year 2023-24).”
You can view these transactions by going to the electronic campaign tab of the Compliance Portal and carefully depositing the entire advance tax.” By clicking on the Statement of Information, you can access the Compliance Portal (AIS). Click the Electronic Campaign tab in the Compliance Portal. Then, under the campaign type, select Substantial transaction.
