According to the DU Recruitment Official notification of 2023, the successful candidate will earn a salary at pay level 10 as per the Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix 7 which is between 57700 rupees to 182400 rupees. Candidates must pay an application fee of 500 rupees. Desirous candidates can complete the application form and submit the form only through the online mode, the forms are available on the College and University of Delhi websites, within the prescribed time limit. Offline forms will not be accepted. The last date to fill out the form is April 2, 2023.

DU is hiring candidates for the Assistant Professor position in various subjects and departments at Lady Irwin College, DU. There are 65 vacancies.
Qualification for DU 2023 Recruitment:
The qualification required for the position of Assistant Professor is indicated below.
- TO master’s degree 55% grade degree (or an equivalent grade on a point scale provided the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (the NET exemption will be granted in accordance with clauses (ii) and (iii) of the General Note in the last section of this document ).
EITHER
- Candidates earning the Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked in the top 500 in the world university rankings (at any time) by any of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) The Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking Of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
Salary for Recruitment DU 2023:
The selected candidate will earn a salary at pay level 10 that is between 57700 rupees to 182400 rupees.
Selection Procedure for UI Recruitment 2023:
The candidate for the position of Assistant Professor will be selected on merit through India-wide advertisements and selection by duly formed Selection Committees.
Constitution of the Preselection/Selection Committee (For Schools):
- Rector of the College. — President
- Two relevant subject teachers must be nominated by the principal.
- A teacher from a related department must be designated by the principal.
- An academic representing SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority/ Women/ People with Disabilities to be nominated by the Director, if any of the candidates representing these categories are applicants and if any of the previous members of the Selection Committee are not members to that category.
After this, the shortlisted candidates will proceed with the procedure as per the official notification.

Application Fee for DU Recruitment 2023:
For the UR/OBC/EWS category, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Applicants in the SC, ST, PwBD and Women categories will not be charged an application fee.
