SSC 2023 Recruitment: The Personnel Selection Commission (SSC) has published a notice inviting online applications from eligible candidates for various Positions mentioned in Exhibit-III in SSC recruitment 2023 official notification. The total vacancies available at Recruitment 2023 drive is 5369. Candidates who wish to make the payment through Challan offline can generate it until 03.28.2023, and the last date for payment through Challan is 03.29.2023. The Commission has also specified a window for the correction of the application form, including online payment, from 03.04.2023 to 05.04.2023. The computer-based exam for advertised vacancies is tentatively scheduled for June-July 2023.
Candidates must apply for each category of position separately and pay the fee for each category. The fee to be paid is Rs. 100/- (One hundred rupees only), except for Female Candidates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Reference Disabilities, and Reservation-eligible Ex-Military, who are exempt from paying the fee. Applications must be submitted online only at the official website of the SSC headquarters. Candidates should review the Notice of Recruitment carefully and ensure they meet all eligibility conditions, such as age limit, essential qualifications, experience, categories, among others, as stated in the notice. The Commission will cancel the application of candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions at any stage of the selection process.

Age Limit for SSC 2023 Recruitment:
According to SSC recruitment 2023 With official notification, the age limit for each job category(ies) is mentioned in Job Details in Exhibit-III next to each job category. The date of birth recorded on the Certificate of Matriculation/Secondary Examination or an equivalent certificate will be accepted by the Commission to determine the age of eligibility. No subsequent request for your change will be considered or granted.
There are allowable age relaxations beyond the upper age limit for eligible categories of applicants. The allowed age relaxations are as follows:
- For SC/ST applicants, the age relaxation is 5 years.
- For OBC applicants, the age relaxation is 3 years.
- For applicants with PcB, the age relaxation is 10 years.
- For PcBD+OBC applicants, the age relaxation is 13 years.
- For PcBD+SC/ST applicants, the age relaxation is 15 years.
- For ex-military (ESM) applicants, the age relaxation is 3 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age as of the closing date.
- For Defense Personnel incapacitated in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed zone and released as a consequence of the same, the age relaxation is 3 years.
Selection Process for Recruitment SSC 2023:
According to SSC recruitment 2023 official notification, the multi-position exam will be conducted on three separate computer-based exams. The topics covered in the exam will be General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Ability) and English Language (Basic Knowledge). The maximum grade for each subject will be 50, with 25 questions for each subject. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for notaries according to paragraphs 9.1 and 9.2).
There will be a negative mark of 0.50 point for each wrong answer. The scores obtained by candidates on the Computer Based Examination will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission. The normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit and the cut-off marks.
For positions with the prescribed Essential Qualification, skill tests such as Typing/Data Entry/Computer Literacy Tests etc. will be conducted and these tests will be of a qualifying nature.
The Commission will have the discretion to set different minimum scoring standards for each component of the Examination based on various factors, such as openings per category and the number of candidates per category.
Provisional Answer Keys will be posted on the Commission website after the Exam. Candidates can go through the Answer Keys and submit representations, if any, within the time limit given by the Commission through the online modality only, by paying Rs 100/- per question. Any representations with respect to Answer Keys received within the time limit set by the Commission at the time of uploading the Answer Keys will be reviewed prior to finalizing the Answer Keys, and the Commission’s decision in this regard will be definitive. No representation regarding answer keys will be considered below.
Educational Qualification for SSC 2023 Recruitment:
According to SSC recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection will be based on the hiring rules of the position and equivalency will not be allowed unless mentioned in the essential qualification prescribed for any position category in the call. For positions that require proficiency in the relevant language as an essential qualification, the applicant must have studied that language up to Matriculation level, and if the language is not taught as a Matriculation subject, it must be the applicant’s native language.
Degrees, diplomas or certificates awarded through open and distance learning modes of education by universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956, and Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament will be recognized for employment purposes in the Central Government, provided they have been approved by the University Grants Commission. It is not allowed to offer engineering, medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, architecture and physiotherapy programs in the open and distance learning mode as per the UGC (Open and Distance Learning) regulations 2017, except B.Tech. Degree/Diploma in Engineering awarded by IGNOU to students enrolled up to the 2009-10 academic year.

How to Apply for SSC 2023 Recruitment:
To apply according to SSC recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates are encouraged to follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of the SSC.
- Click on the “Apply” button, and then select the category of position you wish to apply for.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (if applicable) via BHIM UPI, net banking, credit/debit card or by generating an SBI Challan.
- Submit the online application form before the latest date, i.e. 27.03.2023 (23:00).
- After successfully submitting the online application, take a hard copy of the application form to submit along with the required documents, duly authenticated, as and when requested by the Users Commission/Department after the completion of the computer-based examination. .
- The information provided by the candidates in their applications will be verified by the Users Department/Commission with reference to the original documents during the Document Verification.
- Candidates can make corrections to their application forms from 03.04.2023 to 05.04.2023 (23:00).
