General description:
BCG is hiring an experienced Business Analyst at its New Delhi location. You will work closely with PIPE Practice Area/Sector/Business Managers and the Global Practice Area Senior Director to manage and provide required financial reporting, using relevant data tools/environment within BCG. You will work as a thought partner and support our teams in bringing ideas to life through data analysis and visualization. It will also maintain a set of dashboards that our business leaders and executive teams will leverage globally to enable data-driven decision support.
Full details of this job are as follows:
What will you be doing:
Track performance metrics, run weekly and monthly reports and analyzes (standard and ad-hoc data analysis)
Ensure base data is captured accurately
Manage internal reporting systems, for example, maintain Tableau dashboards
Work to find process improvement and innovation opportunities and help execute them
Support the team to perform data analysis for PIPE portfolio companies
Collect and maintain commercial pipeline for the business.
Qualifications for this job:
2-4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst/Business Intelligence
The ability to independently manage your work segment or sub-functional team, incl. Projects
Demonstrated business understanding
Consulting or other professional service experience preferred
Degree or equivalent in business, or related field highly preferred
What skills are needed:
Very strong Excel skills, preferably knowledge of Tableau and Business Objects.
Strong business intelligence and analytical skills – high level of comfort with numbers and an eye for data and finance
Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills: attention to detail, proactive follow through and accountability
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well with BCG senior members and peers
Strong written and oral communication skills.
