Boeing is hiring an experienced Associate Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at its Bangalore location. The individual will work in different phases of product development on Boeing platforms.

What will you be doing:
Implement projects independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams and all stakeholders
Approach the SME for the necessary help, guidance and mentoring team during the execution of the project
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, positive attitude and highest ethics.
Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
Must be able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interact with Boeing personnel around the world.
Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Be proficient in written and spoken English, and have a high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools.
Qualifications for this job:
degree or higher is required.
5-8 years of significant experience in the aerospace electrical domain is preferred.
Must have electrical wiring design and development life cycle experience.
Experience in electrical system architecture design, wiring design, harness design is required.
You must have worked through the development cycle and have a good understanding of wiring and harness component selections.
Must have experience preparing manufacturing bills of materials.
Drafting standards for wiring and electrical harnesses.
Experience in electrical load analysis and power supply capacity (AC analysis, DC analysis and battery analysis) for aircraft.
Good knowledge of aerospace processes and their applications.
Design for Manufacture and Design for Testing.
Having experience designing 3D harnesses is an added bonus.
Knowledge in the implementation of EMI/EMC methods for the design of electrical wiring.
Experience integrating and testing wiring/harness on the aircraft is an added advantage.
What skills are needed:
You must have a solid understanding of electrical circuit theory, electrical power systems, electrical technology, and analog/digital electronic circuits.
Preferably have a detailed understanding of MIL 704D, MIL-W-5088L/SAE AS50881, MIL-E-7016, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, MIL-B-5087 and DO-160 standards.
Understanding of configuration management, requirements traceability and related processes.
Experience at Mentor Graphics Capital (logic and Harness XC), Catia is an added asset.
Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Be proficient in written and spoken English, and have a high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools.
