SAIL Recruitment 2023: Check Positions, Eligibility, Compensation, How to Apply
SAIL 2023 Recruitment: Burnpur Hospital-IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has invited applications from duly eligible walk-in interview candidates for multiple Paramedic and Nurse Trainee Positions notified vide the sailing recruiting 2023 Announcement issued. According to the SAIL recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 16 vacancies to fill with participation as apprentices in 07 positions; viz., 01) Operating Room Technician, 02) Dresser (Female), 03) X-Ray Technician, 04) Laboratory Technician and Blood Bank Technician, 05) Pulmonary Function Test Technician and 06) Nurses therefore notified.
Interested Eligible Candidates may fill out their respective Applications in the Prescribed Proforma. The Candidates must submit their respective Applications duly completed through the E-mail notified in the SAIL Recruitment Notification 2023. Interviews without prior appointment for the participation of suitable candidates as Paramedic and nurse trainees for 18 Months of Duration will be carried out on March 13 and 14, 2023 (13-14.03.2023) for Paramedics and Nursing Positions.

01. Operations Theater Technician Apprentices (OTT): 02 Nos.
02. Dresser (Female) Trainee: 01 No.
03. X-Ray Technician Apprentices: 02 Nos.
04. Laboratory Technician and Blood Bank Technician Apprentice: 01 No.
05. Pulmonary Function Test Technician Apprentice: 1 No.
06. Nursing students: 09 Nos.
Vacant: 16 nos.
Training duration: 18 months
Remuneration under SAIL Recruitment 2023:
As notified in SAIL’s 2023 Recruitment Announcement, the Compensation Due in the form of fixed Stipend Amounts for Selected Trainees will be as follows:
The duration of the training set for the 06 positions is 18 months. Trainees will be eligible for a consolidated stipend of Rs. 8000.00 (Rupees eight thousand) per month only plus related allowances (approximately 7020.00 per month depending on actual attendance) during the training period. The maximum amount of the stipend to be paid will be 8000.00 plus 7020.00 = 15020.00 per month.

The age limits regarding the positions of paramedics and nurses to be counted from 01.0.2023 must be as mentioned below:
Age limits: General Candidates: Maximum 30 Years
Relaxations in the upper age limits applicable to the OBC, ST, SC, PwBD, non-reserved category, OBC, SC, ST candidates mentioned in the SAIL 2023 recruitment announcement.
Eligibility under SAIL Recruitment 2023:
Note*: According to the SAIL Recruitment Announcement 2023, Multiple eligibility in the form of relevant educational and professional qualifications for paramedics and nurses are explained in detail in this document. Therefore, Candidates are recommended to read it carefully.
For paramedic positions:
For all Paramedic positions except Dresser (Female) Intermediate with Science/Graduate in Disciplines Related to Mail.
For Vanity Post, Intermediate (10+2) with Sciences from any Interuniversity/Pre-University/Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or State Government with a Diploma/Certificate Course in Dresser from any University/Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
For X-ray Technician position: Other than Intermediate Graduate Degree in Radiography from any University/Institution duly recognized by the Central Government/State Government.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in CT-Scan.
For nursing position: Intermediate (10+2) with Sciences from any Inter/Pre-university/Institution duly recognized by the Central or State Government and B.Sc. (Nursing)/Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from any duly recognized Institute/College affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Selection under SAIL Recruitment 2023:
The selection of the Appropriately Fit Candidates who satisfy the specific prescribed Eligibility for the Applied Paramedic and Nursing Positions will be carried out through an Interview.
