01) Eligibility for the position of scientist ‘C’:

A) Central Government Officials/State Governments/Union Territories Administrations/Public Sector Companies/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) Carry out Analogous Positions in a Regular Form in the Matrix Board of the Department; EITHER

ii) With 05 Years of Regular Service at Level 10 of the Salary Scale of the Salary Matrix that has been granted Regular Designation in the Matrix or Department Staff; With

B) Educational qualifications prescribed for the ‘C’ scientist:

I) Medical Board of India Accredited Baccalaureus Medicinae, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae or Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/Post Graduate Degree in the subject mentioned therein; with

II) 04 years of experience in research and development/teaching/working in public sector companies/accredited government institutions.

02) Eligibility for the position of scientist ‘D’:

A) Central Government Officials/State Governments/Union Territories Administrations/Public Sector Companies/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) Carry out Analogous Positions in a Regular Form in the Matrix Board of the Department; EITHER

ii) With 05 Years of Regular Service at Level 11 of the Pay Scale of the Pay Matrix with Regular Designation in the Matrix or Department Staff; With

B) Prescribed educational qualifications for the ‘D’ scientist position:

I) MD accredited by Medical Council of India/Master of Surgery/Diploma of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent to 05 years R&D experience/Teaching/Work in Public Sector/Institutions Accredited by DNB Government.

II) MD accredited by Medical Council of India/Master of Surgery/Diploma of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent to 05 years R&D experience/Teaching/Work in Public Sector Company/Accredited Institutions by the Government.

II) Medical Council of India Accredited Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae or Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with 04 years of experience in research and development/teaching/working in public sector company/government accredited institutions .

III) Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D.) of the Accredited University in the Subject notified in the Recruitment Notification 2023 of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

03) Eligibility for the position of scientist ‘E’:

A) Central Government Officials/State Governments/Union Territories Administrations/Public Sector Companies/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) Carry out Analogous Positions in a Regular Form in the Matrix Board of the Department; EITHER

ii) With 05 Years of Regular Service at Level 12 of the Salary Scale of the Salary Matrix, with Regular Designation in the Matrix Staff or Department; With

B) Prescribed educational qualifications for the ‘E’ scientist position:

I) MD accredited by Medical Council of India/Master of Surgery/Diploma of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent to 05 years R&D experience/Teaching/Work in Public Sector/Institutions Accredited by DNB Government.

II) MD accredited by Medical Council of India/Master of Surgery/Diploma of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent to 05 years R&D experience/Teaching/Work in Public Sector Company/Accredited Institutions by the Government.

II) Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D) with 04 years of experience in research and development/teaching/working in public sector companies/accredited government institutions.

III) 07 years of experience in research and development / teaching / work in public sector companies / accredited government institutions notified in the Recruitment Notification 2023 of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Selection Criteria Hiring Ministry of Health and Family Welfare 2023:

The selection of Scientists ‘C’/Scientists ‘D’/Scientists ‘E’ will be by County Council (Including Short-Term Contracts).

Tenure of the deputation: Provincial tenure (including short-term contract), including deputation term (ISTC) in another ex-cadre position held immediately prior to this appointment in a similar organization/other organization/central government department, normally it will not exceed 04 (four) years.
