All students, regardless of whether they are in the Humanities, Commerce, or Sciences stream, are required to take English classes as part of their preparation for the current board exam. Fortunately, one can do well in this role if they do their homework.

English is one of the most important and scoring subjects for 12th grade students. It is also important that students are focused and relaxed during the last days of the exam. Even if the students are studying tirelessly the day before the exam, there is still some anxiety. Through this essay, we hope to allay students’ anxiety before the Class 12 English test. The Class 12 English test is broadly divided into 3 sections with a total of 80 points and the remaining 20 points are allocated for the internal evaluation.

The division of the paper goes like this:

Section – A: The reading section contains 20 points
Section – B: The grammar and writing section is 20 points
Section – C: Literature consists of 40 Marks
The internal evaluation is 20 points

The students in these remaining days should concentrate on the revision part of the document extensively, since there is no time left for the beginning of any new chapter. Appearing candidates should ensure honest review of the topic and emphasize the review part itself.

At home:

One of the main revision processes is to highlight the important points in the chapter in question. Students are supposed to mark important points and highlight them as they go through the chapters. Highlighting important points while reading helps students tremendously during review sessions, as it saves time that can be used elsewhere, productively. Watching topic related videos online also helps students.

Another important aspect of the revision is to solve the questionnaires and examples of the previous years. The more you solve the quizzes and sample exams from previous years, the more confident you will get to solve the English questions test. Maintaining a healthy home environment is the family’s duty also during check-up time.

Leaving social media platforms is one of the key points while you focus on the review part of the document. “Use your smart devices wisely and don’t let them use you” should be kept in mind while studying.

Students should also make time for their favorite activity that helps them release the pressure of the exam in a positive way. A fixed schedule must be supervised by the parents of the students who appear on the Board also for such activities.

During the review stage, the division of chapters with justifiable time slots is an important aspect. Students need to understand the importance of time management not only in the exam room, but also during the review.
Eat healthy and sleep soundly. Indulge in productive acts.

In the Exam Room:

Students should fully use the 15-minute time to thoroughly review the quiz.

The reading section is one of the highest scoring sections on paper in English. Contains 2 Invisible Passages and 1 Invisible Poem. This aspect of the document can help students score well on this section if they go through it tactfully.

The Writing and Grammar Section needs to have strong writing skills and students must have a good understanding of Grammar concepts.

The literature part of the quiz requires a good understanding of the prescribed chapters in the textbook. Having a clear picture of the character sketches and central themes is an essential part of getting good grades in this section.

The use of citations from the chapters under consideration has a good impact on the scores. Underlining important points on the answer sheet is also a good idea.

The quiz contains a word limit for each answer that students must write on it. Candidates should be aware of the word limit for the particular question, as it is a waste of time and does not impress the examiner.

Another important tip to get good grades on the exam is to have clear and legible handwriting.

Time management is one of the most important yet crucial aspects of the exam. The division of time in different sections of the document should be done with nostalgia.

Last but not least, the review of the Answer Sheet, as well as the Question Document, is a very important aspect of the document. The remaining 15 minutes should be used judiciously for revision because the paper will take 3 hours to complete, with 2 hours and 45 minutes allotted for writing.
